People / Childhood

In 2003 the Atauchi project marked the origin of the charity spirit of El Naturalista. Together with development aid organisations, we promote educational projects for the youngest and neediest ones in third-world countries. We continue to think of children as the engine for development and, consequently, representatives of the future. For this reason, we are continuing with our projects in Haiti, Tanzania, and Peru.

Our main aim is to promote care and education in childhood through work coordinated with recognised international institutions that lead collaborative projects related to sustainable development and local initiatives.

We colaborate with:

Supporting the work of UNICEF in 2011, through the "Multiplica por la Infancia" Program (Multiply for Childhood), to guarantee basic, quality education for all children, helping along with other donors to finance the Schools for Africa Program implemented in 11 countries.

Through the charity project “Luces en la sombra” (Lights in the shade) published in 2009, that contributes to enhancing the overall quality of life of children all over the world thanks to the work of Save the Children through the healthcare programme "Todos Contamos" (We all count), to which all the profit generated by the sale of each copy will go.

Donation of children's footwear for the I Charity Gala “No más sueños rotos” (No more broken dreams) held on 19 December 2012 in Madrid.

Now we will also extend our collaboration to the countries where we are represented, thanks to the El Naturalista Prize.
